Attention students! It’s time for our annual Yearbook Cover Design Contest! This year’s theme is “Superheros.” Design a cover that represents what this means to you, and YOUR ARTWORK could be chosen for the yearbook! All submissions must include the following items:
- School Year-2016-2017
- School Name and Theme- Harbordale Elementary-Superhero Headquarters
Important Guidelines: Artwork must be created on white letter sized paper (8.5 x 11 inches). No lined paper. The paper needs to be vertical (portrait) NOT horizontal. Crayons, markers, paints, water colors or colored pencils may be used. Color in all the white space on the paper. Artwork must be the student’s original artwork, not computer generated, traced, or copied. Do not fold the drawing. Write your full name, your grade, and teacher, in pencil, on the back.
Some of you might want to include the schools mascot and symbol (a dolphin and sailboat), in your artwork, but it is not required.
There will be one winner for the front cover, and a winner from each grade level will be displayed on the back cover!
Students may only submit one piece of artwork for consideration. Students will turn in their submission to their teacher. Submission deadline for your artwork is December 6th, 2016. The Yearbook Committee cannot accept artwork after this date.
